August 21-25


We had a busy week! Andrew's friends who are normally in preschool are on school break, so we visit two indoor play places that we've never been to before. Andrew and Juliette both had a great time running around being wild. One of the play centers had a giant cassia seed pit as an alternative to a sandbox and they loved it so much. I had to pick Addy and Torah up from school on Wednesday, and I let all the kids play for a while before we drove home. We also went back to ISKL this today and it was fun seeing how excited Andrew and Juliette were to see their big sisters.

Juliette loved pushing the colorful sticks into a piece of foam board. Fun with paint!

                  A few weeks ago I noticed a pile of cardboard candle holder containers that were discarded outside of the Yankee candle shop. The shop employee seemed to think it was strange that I wanted them,  but to me they looked perfect to use for art and craft projects for the kids. I have a couple craft projects in mind for them for Addy and Torah,  but yesterday I simply pulled out the paints and let Andrew and Juliette go at it.  I love that Juliette is a toddler now and can join in our fun. It is more motivating to plan preschool activities now that I know it will keep both of them busy for a while!       I left Andrew unattended for a few minutes, and when I returned he had paint all over his hands and feet.
